Dr. Laura Forster came to Georgetown Pediatrics in 2013 from North Carolina, having completed medical school and residency at the University of Louisville. She’s the recipient of several awards, including the Compassionate Pediatrician Award in 2010.
The practice of medicine is something Dr. Forster finds very rewarding, especially getting to know patients and their families. She believes that nothing can replace the relationship between a general pediatrician and the families he or she takes care of. This personal and professional philosophy continues to be a great fit with our emphasis on being a patient-centered medical home.
Dr. Forster, her husband, and their two children, Audrey and Andrew, love being in Kentucky where they happily have become part of our community.
